The devastating destruction brought on by the “Camp Fire” in Paradise is heartbreaking. Members throughout Manteca Unified School District want to help and now is your chance! Sierra High will be the donation collection center for all NEW DONATED ITEMS. The plan is to transport donated items to the region next week before Thanksgiving.

There will be a donation bins in the Sierra High School office, classroom 51 and 27 through next week. The coordinator of the drive, Mr. Rio, hopes to have Sierra's Broadcast Journalism class create some media to promote the event and share with the community. For teachers who advise clubs, please share with your membership ASAP. For those of you who coach, share with your players. Posting the flyer on your professional and personal social media accounts will also go a long way.

This is a QUICK turnaround before everyone leaves for the Thanksgiving holiday but the hope is that MUSD will deliver! May your generosity be in abundance during this difficult time and let us all provide some Hope for Paradise.

Please contact Mr. Jared Rio (jrio@musd.net) with any questions or ideas.
